Dr Rupesh PatanjaliIt becomes involved with the Torchwood squad aft an encounter with Jack and Ianto. It shortly becomes apparent that the government are involved with the 456 and know what is going on. Jack and Ianto visit their respective families as Gwen heads to East Grimstead to talk to an adult who’s been affected by what has been going on. Aft managing to gain Jack’s trust it’s discovered that Rupesh is working for the enemy and Jack is shot. Aft recovering Jack breaks that Rupesh has been murdered. Gwen finds out that she’s pregnant. When the Torchwood base is assaulted Gwen and Ianto are forced to flee leaving Jack behind.
